The Government of Haryana on June 30, 2026, issued the Viksit Bharat—Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin); VB-G RAM G scheme, Haryana, 2026.
The scheme comes into force from the date of its publication in the Official Gazette and applies to all notified rural areas of Haryana. It is implemented under the Viksit Bharat—Guarantee for Rozgar and Ajeevika Mission (Gramin) Act, 2025, with undefined terms carrying meanings as per the Act.
Under the scheme, the State Government is required to provide at least 125 days of guaranteed unskilled manual employment per financial year to every rural household whose adult members volunteer for work. Wages must be paid weekly or within a maximum of 15 days, at rates notified by the Central Government.
Additionally, the State may seek special relaxations during natural calamities or emergencies. If employment is not provided within 15 days of application, the applicant becomes eligible for a daily unemployment allowance as per the Act.
