NSE Cancellation of International Holiday on July 3, 2026 for Institutional Trade Confirmations

Secretarial ComplianceThe NSE Clearing Limited (NCL), on July 2, 2026, issued a circular informing Trading Members and Custodians that the previously declared international holiday on July 3, 2026, has been cancelled. The circular is issued in continuation of the International Holidays for Confirmation of Institutional Trades circular dated December 30, 2025.

Accordingly, July 3, 2026, shall be treated as a normal working day for the purpose of confirmation of institutional trades. Trading Members and Custodians are required to ensure timely confirmation and settlement-related activities in accordance with the applicable procedures.

The circular further clarifies that custodial rejections on July 3, 2026, shall attract the applicable penalties, as the international holiday exemption will no longer apply.
