Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Madhya Pradesh, on June 18, 2026, amended the Levy of Fees for Inspection and Approval of Electrical Installation (Madhya Pradesh) Rules, 2017 under the powers conferred by the Electricity Act, 2003.

The amendment substitutes Rule 3 to clarify that no inspection fee shall be payable for medium-pressure equipment installed within high-pressure and very high-pressure installations.
