BSE Mock Trading Session Scheduled for Currency Derivatives Segment

Secretarial ComplianceThe Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on July 2, 2026, issued a notice scheduling a mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives segment on Saturday, July 4, 2026. The mock session is intended to facilitate testing of trading systems and ensure compliance with SEBI's software testing requirements prescribed under the circular dated November 24, 2020.

Trading Members may participate either in the mock trading session or the UAT environment to fulfil their regulatory testing obligations. Members using third-party trading platforms or in-house systems through IML/ETI APIs are encouraged to utilize the session to test various trading functionalities, including exceptional market conditions. The Exchange has also informed that BOLT Pro TWS Version 13.11 will be released separately through another circular.

The mock trading session will include login from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by continuous trading in Currency and Cross Currency Derivatives from 11:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with trade modification at 3:40 PM. The Exchange clarified that trades executed during the mock session are only for testing purposes and will not create any rights, liabilities, margin obligations, or settlement obligations. Members have been requested to actively participate and submit their feedback by 4:30 PM.
