The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 02, 2026, notified regarding the mock trading session in the SLBM on Saturday, July 04, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• The NSE has announced a mock trading session for the Securities Lending and Borrowing Mechanism (SLBM) segment on July 4, 2026, to test trading systems and disaster recovery preparedness. The mock will be conducted in two sessions—the first from the Primary Site (1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, including a contingency window from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM) and the second from the Disaster Recovery (DR) Site (4:45 PM to 5:30 PM). Members shall re-login to the live environment between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM to ensure readiness for trading on July 6, 2026.
• The Exchange has mandated the use of NEAT Adapter Version 1.0.28 (Windows/Linux), the new CA certificate, and the updated Gateway Router Port 10889 for participation. Members using direct NNF connectivity shall download the new CA certificate from the NSE Extranet and complete migration by July 4, 2026. The new connectivity supports enhanced encryption and removal of the MD5 checksum.
• The circular also outlines operational guidelines, including use of NEAT version 1.3.3, automatic purge of outstanding orders before each session, availability of the NOTIS application, and validation of only compliant UCC/PAN records. Trades executed during the mock session will not create any financial obligations. Members are advised to verify connectivity, configure Box IDs, set branch/user limits, and ensure all trading applications function correctly. The Exchange has also issued detailed instructions for seamless switchover to the DR site and has advised members to participate actively to verify system readiness.
