The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 02, 2026, notified regarding the mock trading session in the Currency Derivatives Segment on Saturday, July 04, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• The NSE has announced a mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives (CD) segment on July 4, 2026, in continuation of its circular dated December 24, 2025, to test system readiness and disaster recovery arrangements. The mock will be conducted in two sessions—the first from the Primary Site (12:45 PM to 4:00 PM, including a contingency period from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM) and the second from the Disaster Recovery (DR) Site (4:30 PM to 5:30 PM), followed by a live re-login window from 6:30 PM to 7:00 PM.
• The circular also notifies that Order Book Snapshot Recovery through Solace API will be discontinued from July 4, 2026, and members shall migrate to TCP/IP-based Order Book Snapshot Recovery. Additionally, members are required to use NEAT Adapter Version 1.0.29, install the new CA certificate, and migrate to the updated interactive ports by July 4, 2026. The new connectivity framework supports enhanced encryption and removes MD5 checksum-based messaging.
• Members shall use NEAT version 3.5.4, download the required CA certificate from the NSE Extranet, and ensure system readiness by verifying connectivity, configuring Box IDs, setting branch/user limits, and validating UCC/PAN details. Outstanding orders will be purged before each session, the NOTIS application will remain available during the mock, and trades executed during the exercise will not result in any financial obligations. The Exchange has also issued detailed guidelines for participation and seamless switchover to the DR site to ensure uninterrupted trading operations.
