The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 02, 2026, notified regarding the mock trading session in the Commodity Derivatives segment on Saturday, July 04, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• The NSE has announced a mock trading session for the Commodity Derivatives (COM) segment on July 4, 2026, in continuation of its circular dated December 24, 2025, to test trading systems and disaster recovery preparedness. The mock will be conducted in two sessions—the first from the Primary Site (12:45 PM to 4:00 PM, including a contingency period from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM) and the second from the Disaster Recovery (DR) Site (4:30 PM to 5:30 PM), followed by position limit/collateral setup and trade modification until 5:40 PM. Members are also required to re-login to the live environment between 6:30 PM and 7:00 PM to ensure readiness for live trading on July 6, 2026.
• The circular mandates the use of NEAT Adapter Version 1.0.29, the new CA certificate, and updated interactive ports (including Gateway Router Port 10869) from July 4, 2026. Members using direct NNF connectivity shall download the new CA certificate from the NSE Extranet and complete migration before participating. The updated ports support enhanced encryption and remove the MD5 checksum mechanism.
• Members shall use NEAT version 1.5.5, ensure connectivity, configure Box IDs, set branch and user limits, and verify UCC/PAN compliance before the mock session. Outstanding orders will be purged before each session, and trades executed during the mock will not result in any financial obligations. The Exchange has also issued detailed operational guidelines for participation, disaster recovery switchover, and technical preparedness to ensure seamless trading operations.
