Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 02, 2026, notified regarding the submission of Half-Yearly Reporting for the usage of Software as a Service (SaaS) based solutions/applications.

The following has been stated:

• The NSE has instructed trading members using Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solutions to submit their half-yearly SaaS compliance report for the period January 1 to June 30, 2026, in line with the SEBI advisory dated November 3, 2020. The report must be submitted through the Member Portal (Inspection → SaaS → Submit SaaS Report) on or before July 31, 2026. Members not using any SaaS-based services are also required to log in, select the "NO" option, and provide appropriate remarks.

• The circular also reiterates the disciplinary framework for non-submission or delayed submission of the SaaS report. As per the Exchange's earlier circular dated April 17, 2026, the first instance of non-compliance will attract an advisory, the second instance a warning, and the third and subsequent instances a financial disincentive of ₹5,000. 

• Trading members are advised to ensure timely compliance to avoid regulatory action.
