The Multi-Commodity Exchange of India Ltd. (MCX) on July 02, 2026, issued a circular regarding Mock Trading from the Disaster Recovery Site (DRS).
The following has been stated:-
•MCX will conduct a Mock Trading Session from its Disaster Recovery Site (DRS) on July 04, 2026, with trading scheduled from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM following a special session.
•Trading members, including those using approved algorithmic strategies, are required to participate for at least one hour from both the primary and disaster recovery sites using all trading software.
•Members may access the mock session through existing leased lines or live SSL VPN connectivity, and should restore their systems to the production environment after testing.
•All trades executed during the mock session are for testing purposes only and will not create any pay-in or pay-out obligations.
