The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) on June 25, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Initiation of an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of “Dialyzers” originating in or exported from China PR and Malaysia.
The following has been stated namely: -
• DGTR has initiated an anti-dumping investigation into imports of Dialyzers originating in or exported from China PR and Malaysia, following an application by Poly Medicure Limited.
• The applicant has alleged that dumped imports are causing material injury to the domestic industry and has sought the imposition of anti-dumping duty.
• The Product Under Consideration (PUC) is Dialyzers, disposable medical devices used in haemodialysis, excluding specified Fresenius branded models.
• The Period of Investigation (POI) is January 01, 2025 to December 31, 2025, while the injury assessment covers FY 2022–23, FY 2023–24, FY 2024–25, and the POI.
• Poly Medicure Limited has been recognized as the domestic industry, meeting the standing requirements under the Anti-Dumping Rules.
• The Authority has found prima facie evidence of significant dumping margins for imports from China PR and Malaysia.
• The investigation also found prima facie evidence of injury, including increased import volumes, price undercutting, financial losses, and negative returns for the domestic industry.
• Interested parties must submit responses and relevant information through the SETU portal (Case ID: AD/OI/019/2026) within the prescribed timelines, with comments on the PUC/PCN methodology due within 15 days.
• Parties filing confidential information must also provide a non-confidential version in accordance with the Anti-Dumping Rules.
• If parties fail to cooperate or submit complete information within the stipulated time, the DGTR may proceed based on the available facts and make recommendations to the Central Government.
