The Government of Punjab on July 01, 2026, issued notification to grants 100% Property Tax Exemption for Eligible Hospitals and Medical Colleges under Investment Policy, 2026.
The Government of Punjab, in line with the Punjab Hospital and Medical College Investment Policy, 2026 (notified on March 8, 2026), has announced 100% exemption from Property Tax for eligible units established under the policy.
This benefit will be available to units that have been issued eligibility certificates by the competent authority, confirming their qualification under the policy provisions. The exemption is aimed at promoting investment in the healthcare and medical education sector within the state.
The property tax exemption will be granted for a period of five years, subject to annual and overall ceilings as specified in the respective eligibility certificates issued to the units.
