The National Medical Commission (NMC) on July 01, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Operationalization of NMC’s Online Appeal Portal for Filing of Appeals by Medical Colleges/Institutions.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The National Medical Commission (NMC) has launched a dedicated Online Appeal Portal for Medical Colleges/Institutions to file appeals against decisions of MARB, UGMEB, and PGMEB.
• All appeals under the National Medical Commission Act, 2019 must be filed exclusively through the Online Appeal Portal.
• Colleges can access the portal via the Appeal icon on the NMC website or directly through the designated online portal using their college login credentials.
• Institutions are advised to carefully review the User Manual and terms and conditions to ensure appeals are filed under the correct provisions with all required documents.
• The previous system of filing appeals through email or any other offline/alternative mode has been discontinued.
This shall come into force on July 01, 2026.
