The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) on June 30, 2026, issued a notification regarding Application for initiation of antidumping investigation concerning imports of Moulded Soda-Lime Glass Vials originating in or exported from China PR.
The following has been stated:-
•The Directorate General of Trade Remedies (DGTR) has initiated an anti-dumping investigation concerning imports of "Moulded Soda-Lime Glass Vials" originating in or exported from China PR.
•This investigation follows an application by PGP Glass Limited, which alleges that these dumped imports are causing material injury to the domestic pharmaceutical packaging container industry.
•The product under consideration covers Type-II and Type-III glass vials within a capacity range of 5ml to 30ml, excluding Type-I borosilicate, tubular, and certain other sizes.
•For this case, the designated authority has set the Period of Investigation (POI) as April 01, 2025, to March 31, 2026, to assess the dumping margins and injury comprehensively.
•All interested parties are directed to register and submit their confidential and non-confidential questionnaire responses through the official SETU portal within 37 days.
