Finance & Taxation Compliance The Income Tax Department on July 06, 2026, issued a notification regarding TDS exemption on Aircraft Lease Rent for IFSC Units.

The following has been stated:-

•The CBDT, through Notification No. 74/2026, has exempted tax deduction at source (TDS) on aircraft lease rentals paid to eligible IFSC units under Section 147 of the Income-tax Act, 2025.
