The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 08, 2026, notified regarding the mock trading session in the Futures & Options segment on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• The NSE has announced a mock trading session on July 11, 2026, in the Futures & Options segment to test the implementation of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash segment. A new NEATPlus Version 7.8.9 will be used only for Trading Session-1, while members must reinstall Version 7.8.8 for Trading Sessions 2 and 3, as well as for live trading from July 13, 2026. During Session-1, stock futures price bands will be aligned with the CAS based on the VWAP of trades executed between 9:00 a.m. and 9:15 a.m.
• The mock will include three trading sessions across the Primary and Disaster Recovery (DR) sites, followed by live re-login from 5:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. NSE also informed members that additional CAS mock sessions will be conducted on July 18 and July 25, 2026, with detailed participation guidelines provided in the annexures.
