The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 08, 2026, issued a circular regarding mock trading on Saturday, July 11, 2026 – Testing of Trading modalities related to the introduction of Closing Auction Session (CAS) in Equity Cash segment.
The following has been stated:-
•The National Stock Exchange (NSE) will conduct a mock trading session on July 11, 2026 to test the implementation of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash segment, with additional mock sessions scheduled for July 18 and 25, 2026.
•Members must use NEATPlus version 7.8.9 only for the first mock session to test CAS features and revert to version 7.8.8 for subsequent sessions and live trading.
•The Exchange has issued detailed trading schedules, software installation requirements, master file instructions, and disaster recovery guidelines for participants.
•Members are advised to actively participate in all mock sessions and re-login to the live environment to ensure readiness for CAS implementation from July 13, 2026.
