The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), on July 09, 2026, announced the introduction of a new Partition 8, effective July 13, 2026.
The following has been stated:
Initially, agri products—FUCARDAMOM, FUCOTTON, FUCOTTONCNDY, FUCOTTONOIL, FUCOTTONREF, FUKAPAS, FUMENTHAOIL, and FURUBBER—will be migrated to the new partition. The updated partition assignments will be reflected in the Mcxscrip.bcp master reference data file available on the Exchange's SFTP server. Members are advised to make the necessary system changes and participate in the mock trading session scheduled for July 12, 2026.
Further, all pending Good Till Cancelled (GTC) and Good Till Date (GTD) orders for the above agri products will be cancelled at the end of the day on July 10, 2026. Members using ETI API applications must update partition-specific messages. Additionally, the Exchange has introduced EMDI Stream 8, while EOBI will provide Copper products tick-by-tick market data on Stream 8. As per the revised framework, the Partition ID will also serve as the EMDI and EOBI stream identifier, and members are required to update their systems before the changes go live on July 13, 2026.
