Labour ComplianceThe Government of Madhya Pradesh on June 30, 2026, issued the Vikas Bharat – Guaranteed Mission for Employment and Livelihood (Rural): VBJI Ramji (Vikas Bharat Ji Ramji) Scheme, Madhya Pradesh.

The primary objective of the Scheme is to align the rural development framework with the National Vision of a Developed India @ 2047 by providing enhanced statutory wage employment guarantee of 125 days in each financial year to rural households whose adult members volunteer to do unskilled manual work, thereby enabling them to participate more effectively in the expanded livelihood security framework.

Focus on empowerment, growth, convergence, and saturation through public works, which together will form the "Developed India National Rural Infrastructure Stack." This will include thematic focus on water-related works for water security, basic rural infrastructure, livelihood infrastructure, and specific works to mitigate the impact of extreme weather events.

Facilitate adequate availability of agricultural labour during the main agricultural season and guarantee wage employment for the rural workforce.

Institutionalize convergence, availability-based planning, and delivery of all government services through developed Gram Panchayat plans. This will be integrated with the PM Gatishakti program to adequately address the diverse needs of Gram Panchayats, powered by geospatial systems, digital public infrastructure, and district and state-level planning systems. Plans developed under this program will be aggregated at the district, state, and national levels.

This scheme will be effective from 01 July 2026.
