The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoC&I) on July 09, 2026, notified the Special Economic Zones (Second Amendment) Rules, 2026, further to amend the Special Economic Zones Rules, 2006.
The following has been stated:-
•In Form H, in Condition 7, for the words “one hundred eighty days”, the words “nine months” shall be substituted.
•In the principal rules, in Annexure-I, in item (1), for the words “second quarter”, the words “third quarter” shall be substituted.
They shall come into force on July 09, 2026.
