The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 10, 2026, issued the notification regarding the update on Mock trading on Saturday, July 11, 2026 – Testing of Trading modalities related to Introduction of Closing Auction Session (CAS) in Equity Cash segment.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Revised Session 1 Timing (Updated):
o Pre-open: 8:00 AM – 8:08 AM (random close in the last minute)
o Normal trading: 8:15 AM – 10:30 AM (updated market close time)
o Trade modification: Until 10:40 AM
• Session 2 (Primary Site):
o Pre-open: 12:45 PM – 12:53 PM
o Normal trading: 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM
• Session 3 (Disaster Recovery Site):
o Pre-open: 3:30 PM – 3:38 PM
o Normal trading: 3:45 PM – 4:15 PM
o Trade modification: Until 4:25 PM
• Members must re-login to the live environment between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM.
• Important Note:
o Trades from Session 1 will not carry over to Sessions 2 or 3.
o Trades from Session 2 will be available in Session 3.
o Members are requested to actively participate in all three trading sessions.
