The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on July 09, 2026, issued the notification regarding the Contingency Mock on July 11, 2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Contingency mock trading will be conducted on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
• Trading Timings:
o Pre-open: 10:45 AM – 11:00 AM
o All commodities (except Mumbai Rainfall): 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM
o Mumbai Rainfall (RAINMUMBAI): 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• Trade Modification:
o All commodities: Until 12:45 PM
o Mumbai Rainfall: Until 2:15 PM
• Members must re-login to the live environment between 5:30 PM and 6:00 PM.
• Testing covers Trading, NEXTRA, Web NCFE, Web Extranet, and NOSS platforms.
• Production Web NCFE, Web Extranet, and NOSS will be unavailable from 4:00 AM (July 11) to 12:00 AM (July 12). Test portals will be available during the mock.
• Production client allocation, collateral segregation reporting, and limit files will not be processed during the downtime. Mock BOD/EOD files will be available through the designated mock folders.
• Trades executed during the mock session will not result in any funds or commodity pay-in/pay-out obligations.
• Members, including those using algorithmic trading software, should actively participate and restore their systems to the production state after testing.
• Members should test Tick-by-Tick (TBT) market data, perform key Web NCFE/Extranet activities (user management, client management, file downloads/uploads, EPI marking, square-off orders, password resets, etc.), and verify connectivity before live trading on Monday, July 13, 2026.
