The NPCI Bharat BillPay Ltd. (NBBL) on June 25, 2026, notified regarding the Implementation of CCF 1 (Biller Fee) in the BBPS Ecosystem.
It has directed all BBPS ecosystem participants to implement the Customer Convenience Fee (CCF1/Biller Fee) by July 30, 2026. CCF1 is an additional charge levied by billers over and above the bill amount for approved categories and may be fixed, percentage-based, or slab-based. Operating Units (OUs), Customer Operating Units (COUs), Aggregator Institutions (AIs), and their downstream participants shall update their front-end systems to support the applicable fee structure as specified by billers and ensure compliance within the prescribed timeline.
