The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), on July 10, 2026, informed Trading Members regarding the financial disincentive applicable for failure to upload or correctly register TWS/ETI/BOLTPLUS terminal location details for the month of June 2026. The notice reiterates members' obligations under earlier Exchange notices to ensure that all trading terminals are duly registered before placing orders.
The Exchange has identified instances where orders were placed from unregistered or incorrectly registered terminal locations based on daily location files downloaded through the Extranet. In accordance with the applicable framework, a financial disincentive of ₹1,000 per instance shall be levied for such violations. The disincentive details have been made available in the LCS0626.xxxx file placed in the Equity Transaction Folder on the Extranet and shall be debited to the General Charges Account after 60 days from the date of the notice.
Further, Trading Members seeking a waiver or review of the financial disincentive may submit their request in accordance with the prescribed procedure under the relevant Exchange notice. Members have been advised to ensure timely uploading and updating of TWS/ETI/BOLTPLUS terminal location details to avoid future non-compliance.
