The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 14, 2026, issued the Update in formats – Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) Segment.
NSE has issued a circular revising the formats of various agreements and annexures applicable to the Electronic Gold Receipts (EGR) Segment. The update supersedes the formats prescribed under the consolidated circular dated April 29, 2026, and introduces revised templates for documents relating to Bank Guarantees (fungible and non-fungible), renewal of Bank Guarantees, Deeds of Pledge for securities and commodities, agreements for placing G-Secs/T-Bills as collateral, and formats for submission and renewal of Fixed Deposit Receipts (FDRs). Clearing Members are required to use these updated formats for all future submissions and collateral arrangements in the EGR Segment.
