The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on July 14, 2026, has issued clarifications on the operational aspects of the Interest Subvention Support for Pre- and Post-Shipment Export Credit under the Export Promotion Mission (EPM) – Niryat Protsahan.
The following has been stated:
The clarifications address issues raised by lending institutions regarding submission of revised claims, UIN generation timelines, claim filing deadlines, treatment of running export credit accounts across financial years, separate UIN requirements for pre- and post-shipment credit, and filing procedures for additional claims. The notice also prescribes deadlines for submission of historical claims, reiterates the requirement for year-specific UINs, and provides guidance to ensure uniform implementation of the scheme by banks and financial institutions.
