The Ministry of Coal on July 13, 2026, seeks stakeholder Consultation on the Draft Coal Mines Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions (Adjudication of Penalties and Appeal) Rules, 2026.
The Ministry of Coal has circulated the draft Coal Mines Provident Fund and Miscellaneous Provisions (Adjudication of Penalties and Appeal) Rules, 2026, submitted by the CMPFO, to implement provisions of the Jan Vishwas (Amendment of Provisions) Act, 2026.
Stakeholders are invited to submit comments or suggestions within two weeks, via email. The deadline is July 26, 2026, by 6 PM, after which submissions will not be considered under the pre-legislative consultation process.
The draft has also been uploaded on the Ministry’s official website for wider public consultation. Late responses will not be entertained or considered legally valid.
