The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE), on July 10, 2026, notified the proforma and application fee for training centres established under laws other than the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions Code, 2020 seeking approval to impart vocational training to persons employed in mines, under Rule 163(4) of the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026.
The notification prescribes a standard application form requiring detailed information on the training centre's infrastructure, facilities, staff, instructors, guest faculty, trainers, and supporting personnel. It applies to training centres that possess the infrastructure and facilities specified under Rule 163(3) and seek approval from the competent authority to conduct vocational training for mine workers.
The prescribed proforma and fee are intended to standardize the approval process for eligible training centres and ensure compliance with the training and competency requirements under the Occupational Safety, Health and Working Conditions (Central) Rules, 2026.
