MCX Extension of Event-Based Additional Surveillance Margin on Mentha Oil Contracts

Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX), on July 14, 2026, issued a circular extending the applicability of the Event-Based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.50% on all running and yet-to-be-launched Mentha Oil contracts.

The Exchange, in continuation of Circular No. MCX/S&I/403/2026 dated July 13, 2026, has extended the E-ASM by one additional day, and the enhanced surveillance margin will now remain in force until August 4, 2026, in accordance with the Exchange's Rules, Bye-laws and Business Rules.

Members are advised to take note of the revised validity period and ensure compliance with the applicable margin requirements for Mentha Oil contracts.
