The Ministry of Labour and Employment (MoLE) on July 13, 2026, notified the standards for exemption from refresher training during normal working hours in oil mines.
The Government has notified standards granting oil mines employing persons in an "on-and-off" work pattern exemption from conducting refresher training during normal working hours on a full-day release basis. Instead, refresher training may be conducted during the employees' off period, subject to the condition that workers are granted compensatory leave equal to the number of training days attended, in addition to the applicable training allowances.
