The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 15, 2026, notified regarding the mock trading on Saturday, July 18, 2026 – Testing of Trading modalities related to the introduction of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash segment.
The following has been stated:
• NSE has announced a mock trading session in the Capital Market (CM) segment on July 18, 2026, to facilitate testing of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) implementation. A new NEATPlus version 7.8.9 will be used only for Trading Session-1 to test CAS functionality, after which members shall reinstall NEATPlus version 7.8.8 for Trading Session-2 and live trading from July 20, 2026.
• The Exchange has also prescribed the mock trading schedule, download paths for the required software version and master files, and advised members to load the specified master files before participating.
• Additionally, NSE has informed that another mock trading session is scheduled for July 25, 2026, with further details to be communicated separately.
