Finance & Taxation Compliance The Ministry of Finance, on July 15, 2026, revised the additional excise duty on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF), effective July 16, 2026, by amending its previous Notification No. 08/2026-Central Excise dated March 26, 2026.

The following has been stated:

• Additional excise duty on Aviation Turbine Fuel (ATF) has been revised to ₹14.50 per litre.

The revised rate has been notified in the public interest under the Central Excise Act, 1944, and the Finance Act, 2002, and will take effect from July 16, 2026.
