The Department of Food, Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Govt. of Delhi, on July 14, 2026, issued the Delhi Food Security (Amendment) Rules, 2026, to further amend the Delhi Food Security Rules, 2026.
It shall come into force on July 16, 2026.
In Rule 3, sub-rule (1), for the words and figures: “The households having annual family income up to Rs.1.20 lakh will be considered as eligible households for inclusion in the Priority Household category.” the following shall be substituted, namely:
“The households having an annual family income up to Rs.2.50 lakh will be considered as eligible households for inclusion in the Priority Household category.”
