The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on July 14, 2026, notified regarding the trading restrictions for clients with non-validated KYC from July 27, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• NCDEX has informed members that clients whose KYC remains "On Hold" and is not validated by KYC Registration Agencies (KRAs) for records uploaded between June 1, 2026, and June 30, 2026 (covering both Aadhaar and non-Aadhaar OVD-based KYC) will not be permitted to trade or square off open positions from July 27, 2026, until their KYC is validated.
• Any existing open positions will be allowed to expire naturally on the respective contract expiry date. Clients whose PANs subsequently become KRA-compliant will be allowed to trade from T+1 based on KRA updates received by the Exchange.
• Members are required to review the list of non-validated clients available on the NCDEX Extranet, prevent such clients from trading, and closely monitor their open positions to ensure compliance.
