The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on July 16, 2026, notified regarding the mock trading session (from PR site) in the Equity segment on July 18, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• BSE has announced a mock trading session in the Equity segment from the Primary (PR) site on July 18, 2026, to facilitate testing of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) before its live implementation. Two mock sessions will be conducted—Session 1 to test CAS-related functionalities and Session 2 to test normal trading without CAS in preparation for live trading from July 20, 2026.
• The Exchange will provide a separate test script master file, introduce BOLT Pro TWS Version 13.30 for CAS testing in Session 1 and Version 13.25 for Session 2 and live trading, and enable updated NFCAST (Version 6.2) and MDI/EMDI API (Version 1.4.5) market data formats.
• Trading members, especially those using third-party applications, are advised to actively participate in testing, replace the test master files after Session 1, and note that trades executed during the mock sessions will not create any margin, settlement, or legal obligations.
