Secretarial ComplianceThe Multi Commodity Exchange of India Limited (MCX), on July 16, 2026, announced a mock trading session to be conducted on July 19, 2026 for testing the Exchange's trading platform and disaster recovery (DR) preparedness. The mock will include a special session, followed by trading from the primary site, after which the Exchange will intentionally disconnect trading and migrate operations to the DR site for continued testing.

Members using the Commodity Trading through CTCL facility are advised to actively participate using the MCX Enhanced Trading Interface (ETI) API Version 1.4.2 and utilize the exercise to test their trading applications from their own disaster recovery sites. Participation is available through existing leased line connectivity or live SSL VPN access for internet-based members.

The Exchange clarified that trades executed during the mock session will not result in any pay-in or pay-out obligations. Members are required to restore their systems to the production environment after the mock and are encouraged to actively participate to ensure operational readiness and seamless connectivity.
