The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on July 16, 2026, issued Re-triggering of 2.5% E-ASM on Turmeric Contracts till August 6, 2026.
NCDEX has re-triggered the Event-based Additional Surveillance Margin (E-ASM) of 2.5% on Turmeric contracts due to significant price variation based on high-low movement criteria. This margin will be on all running and upcoming Turmeric contracts until August 6, 2026, in line with earlier surveillance circulars issued by the Exchange.
The trigger was activated on July 16, 2026, based on both 5-day (10%) and 10-day (15%) price movement thresholds. Other listed commodities are currently not impacted by E-ASM, except Coriander, which remains under applicability until July 21, 2026. All other applicable margins will continue unchanged.
