The Ministry of Finance has amended Notification No. 77/2023-Customs (N.T.) to revise the All Industry Rates (AIR) of Duty Drawback for specified tariff items under Chapter 71 (Jewellery and Precious Metals) with effect from July 16, 2026.
The following has been stated:
The drawback amount for Tariff Item 711301 has been revised from ₹773.17 to ₹1,851.99.
The drawback amount for Tariff Item 711302 has been revised from ₹14,990.66 to ₹29,501.09.
The drawback amount for Tariff Item 711401 has also been revised from ₹14,990.66 to ₹29,501.09.
The amendments have been made under the Customs and Central Excise Duties Drawback Rules, 2017, by revising the schedule to Notification No. 77/2023-Customs (N.T.).
