The Madhya Pradesh Farmers Welfare and Agricultural Development Department (MPFWAD), on June 15, 2026, revised the market fee payable on notified agricultural produce under Section 19(1) of the Madhya Pradesh Krishi Upaj Mandi Adhiniyam, 1972.
The notification increases the market fee from the existing ₹1.00 to ₹1.50 for every ₹100 of the price of notified agricultural produce. The Department further stated that separate orders will be issued regarding the distribution of the additional ₹0.50 collected as market fee.
The revised market fee shall come into force from the date of its publication in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette.
