Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Madhya Pradesh on July 16, 2026, has exempted ownership transfer documents executed by the State Government under the SVAMITVA Scheme from the additional stamp duty payable under Section 75(1) of the Madhya Pradesh Panchayat Raj Avam Gram Swaraj Adhiniyam, 1993. The exemption applies to property ownership records created in favour of private owners under the scheme and aims to facilitate the transfer of ownership rights while reducing the financial burden on beneficiaries. The notification comes into force from the date of its publication in the Madhya Pradesh Gazette.
