The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), on July 2026, fixed the retail price of Each Film Coated Bilayered Tablet containing Clonazepam IP 0.5 mg and Paroxetine Hydrochloride Hemihydrate IP equivalent to Paroxetine 25 mg (Controlled Release) manufactured by M/s Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and marketed by M/s Mankind Pharma Ltd. The retail price has been determined under Paragraph 5 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order (DPCO), 2013 based on November 2025 market data.
The NPPA has fixed the retail price at ₹20.06 per tablet (excluding GST) after computing the average price to retailers (PTR) of eligible brands with at least 1% market share and adding the prescribed 16% retailer margin, in accordance with the DPCO, 2013 pricing methodology.
Manufacturers and marketers are required to comply with the notified retail price while marketing the formulation and may levy GST, if applicable, over and above the notified retail price as per the applicable tax laws.
