The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), on July 2026, fixed the retail price of Each Hard Gelatin Capsule containing Atorvastatin Calcium IP equivalent to Atorvastatin 20 mg, Clopidogrel Bisulphate IP equivalent to Clopidogrel 75 mg, and Aspirin IP 75 mg, manufactured by M/s Akums Drugs & Pharmaceuticals Ltd. and marketed by M/s Sun Pharmaceutical Industries Ltd. The retail price has been determined under Paragraph 5 of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order (DPCO), 2013 based on November 2025 market data. [File No. 19(5248)/2026/DP/NPPA/Div.II]
The NPPA has fixed the retail price at ₹8.89 per capsule (excluding GST) after calculating the average price to retailers (PTR) of eligible brands with a market share of 1% or above and adding the prescribed 16% retailer margin, in accordance with the pricing methodology under DPCO, 2013.
Manufacturers and marketers must ensure that the formulation is marketed at or below the notified retail price, with GST, wherever applicable, chargeable separately, in compliance with the provisions of the Drugs (Prices Control) Order, 2013.
