The Government of Bihar, on July 13, 2026, issued a notification regarding enhanced Pension and Disability Pension for Registered Construction Workers.
The following has been stated: -
•The Government of Bihar has amended the relevant scheme under Section 7(6) (b) of the Code on Social Security, 2020.
•The monthly Pension and Disability Pension for registered construction workers have been increased from ₹1,000 to ₹1,100.
•All other provisions of the existing scheme will remain unchanged.
This will be effective from July 13, 2026.
