Labour ComplianceThe Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MoSD&E) on July 13, 2026, notified regarding the One-Time Window for Submission of Backdated Termination Requests through the Zoho Ticketing Support.

The following has been stated:

• The Directorate General of Training (DGT) has announced a one-time submission window from August 1 to August 31, 2026, for employers/users to submit backdated apprenticeship contract termination requests through Zoho Ticketing Support under the subject line "Backdated Termination Request". Requests shall be submitted in the prescribed format containing apprentice and contract details, training period, termination date, and reason for termination. Contracts completed on or before May 1, 2026, or those not active as of May 15, 2026, are not eligible. 

• The circular also mandates prior approval from the concerned Advisor, provides that male apprentices must observe a 90-day gap before joining a new training programme after contract termination as per Gazette Notification G.S.R. 610(E) dated September 3, 2025 (published September 11, 2025), and clarifies that incomplete or incorrectly formatted requests will be rejected. 

• No extension beyond August 31, 2026, will be granted.
