The Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports (MoYA&S) on July 17, 2026, notified the National Anti-Doping (Removal of Difficulties) Order, 2026.
The following has been stated: -
•The Central Government has provided that the National Anti-Doping Rules, 2021 will continue to remain in force until corresponding regulations are notified under the National Anti-Doping Act, 2022. Actions, proceedings, and decisions taken under the 2021 Rules during this interim period will be deemed valid under the Act.
It shall come into force on July 17, 2026, and shall be in force till such time as regulations are notified by the National Board for Anti-Doping in Sports under section 30 and by the National Anti-Doping Agency under section 31 of the said Act.
