The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 23, 2026, issued a circular regarding Mock trading on Saturday, July 25, 2026 – Testing of Trading modalities related to the introduction of Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash segment.
The following has been stated:-
•The National Stock Exchange (NSE) will conduct a mock trading session in the Futures & Options segment on Saturday, July 25, 2026, to test trading modalities related to the introduction of the Closing Auction Session (CAS) in the Equity Cash segment.
•During Trading Session 1, members must use NEATPlus version 7.8.9 for CAS testing, while Sessions 2 and 3, as well as live trading from July 27, 2026, will continue with NEATPlus version 7.8.8.
•The mock will comprise three trading sessions, with Session 3 conducted from the Disaster Recovery (DR) site.
•Members are advised to actively participate in all sessions and ensure the appropriate NEATPlus version is used as specified.
