The National Stock Exchange (NSE) on July 23, 2026, notified regarding the mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives Segment on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• The Exchange has announced a mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives Segment on July 25, 2026, to enable trading members to test their systems and operational readiness in both the Primary Site (PR) and Disaster Recovery (DR) Site environments. The mock session will be conducted in two phases, with Trading Session-1 on the Primary Site from 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by Trading Session-2 on the Disaster Recovery Site from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. Trade modification will be permitted until 3:40 p.m.. At the same time, live system re-login for participants will be available between 7:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
• The Exchange has also issued detailed operational guidance through Annexure 1, which contains important instructions for the mock session, Annexure 2, outlining pre-requisites and general guidelines for participation in the mock environment, and Annexure 3, providing procedures to be followed in the event of a trading system switchover to the Disaster Recovery (DR) Site.
