The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on July 23, 2026, notified regarding the mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives on Saturday, July 25, 2026.
The following has been stated:
• BSE has announced a mock trading session for the Currency Derivatives segment on Saturday, July 25, 2026, to be conducted from both the Disaster Recovery (DR) site and the Primary (PR) site. Trading members using third-party trading platforms, empanelled vendor solutions, or in-house trading systems through ETI APIs are encouraged to utilize the session to test their trading applications and various functionalities, including performance under exceptional market conditions.
• The session will include continuous trading for Currency Derivatives and Cross Currency Derivatives from the DR site between 8:15 a.m. and 10:45 a.m., followed by a DR-to-PR switchover from 12:30 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., and a second trading session from 1:15 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., with trade modification scheduled at 2:10 p.m. for both segments.
• The Exchange has clarified that no new BOLT TWS release will be deployed for this mock session and that all trades executed during the exercise are for testing and familiarization purposes only, carrying no margin, pay-in/pay-out obligations, or legal rights and liabilities. Trading members are advised to participate actively in the mock session to validate their systems and operational readiness.
