The Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) on July 23, 2026, notified Mock Trading on Saturday July 25 2026 for Equity Segment.
The Exchange has scheduled a mock trading session on July 25, 2026 in the Equity segment to test systems and new functionalities, particularly the Closing Auction Session (CAS).
Two sessions will be conducted:
• Session 1 (DR site): Focused on testing CAS-related changes, including full trading flow from pre-open to closing auction.
• Session 2 (PR site): Conducted without CAS changes to ensure readiness for normal live trading starting July 27, 2026.
Key instructions include:
• Separate test scrip master file will be provided for CAS testing.
• Members must switch back to the regular scrip master file after Session 1 for live trading.
• Different BOLT Pro TWS versions are required: version 13.30 for CAS testing (Session 1) and version 13.25 for Session 2 and live trading.
• Market data formats will differ between sessions (new format in Session 1, existing format in Session 2).
• Trades executed during mock sessions will not carry any financial obligations or liabilities.
Participants are encouraged to actively take part to ensure system readiness and smooth implementation of CAS.
