Industry Specific Compliance The Ministry of Civil Aviation, on July 17, 2026, issued the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) (Amendment) Rules, 2026 to further amend the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) Rules, 2025.

The following has been stated:

In the fourth paragraph of the preamble, after the words, figures and brackets, the words, brackets and figures “and in supersession of the Aircraft (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) Rules, 2017, except as respects things done or omitted to be done before such supersession”, have been inserted.
