The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare (MoA&FW) on July 23, 2026, issued a notification regarding specifications for Anhydrous Ammonia Fertilizer.
The following has been stated: -
•The Central Government has notified the specifications for Anhydrous Ammonia Fertilizer under Clause 20A of the Fertiliser (Inorganic, Organic or Mixed) (Control) Order, 1985.
•The notified specifications will remain valid for three years from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
•The fertilizer must meet the prescribed standard, including the minimum nitrogen content by weight, for manufacture by eligible units.
